Nature Meditations

Nature-Based Mindfulness Meditations to deepen your nature connection.

Welcome to our nature-based mindfulness meditation playlist, where each guided practice is crafted to support your journey into deeper connection with the natural world and your own inner landscape. These meditations are designed to guide you to a "sit spot," a chosen place in nature where you can regularly return and settle, fostering a sense of belonging and calm. Here, we slow down, tune in to the rhythms of the earth, and cultivate a mindful presence.

Through this practice, you’ll experience the healing potential of nature as you build familiarity with the sights, sounds, and sensations of your sit spot. Each meditation encourages openness to the present moment, allowing you to observe nature's subtle changes and your own responses. Over time, this practice can deepen your relationship with the land, nurturing a feeling of groundedness, peace, and connection that supports resilience in daily life.

These nature meditations were written and recorded for Boroondarra Council and Victoria Walks at Anderson Park in Hawthorn East. The Meditations are meant to be listened to outside in nature and draw from ecotherapy and mindfulness based stress reduction. You can also find these meditations mapped to an outdoor trail at Anderson Park in Hawthorn and available at the Vic Walks website.

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung, Bunurong and Wadawurrung peoples of the Kulin Nations as the Traditional Custodians of the lands, who have strived to retain their identity and cultures through more than two hundred years of dispossession and colonisation. While living, working and practicing on these beautiful lands and waters we are committed to recognising how these lands were never ceded.
